What is ITTS ?

ITTS is an innovative programme intended to give graduate students new opportunities to have international careers in innovative technologies such as maintenance, supervision, advanced control, and integrated design. ITTS will be of special interest to students intending to work in the fields of transportation systems.

What are its objectives?

ITTS will allow students to:

• Learn in a multicultural environment with experienced international teachers available to provide the individual attention students need to thrive
• Acquire specialist knowledge in the context of transportation systems (Analysis, Design and Applications)
• Understand and master means of communication and integrated information systems for embedded systems
• Manage the economic and human aspects of projects
• Provide projects based on industrial or research problems
Projects will consist of case studies proposed by companies such as Alstom Transport, Certia, Hispano-Suiza, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Schneider, Sera CD, Sherpa Engineering, Siemens, SNCF, Technord, Volvo Technology...

Why ITTS?

Interest in Innovative Technologies in Transportation Systems come from problems caused by accidents, traffic congestion and complexity of networks. ITTS will provide students with a new challenge to learn state-of-the art strategies which are applicable to transportation and also a wide range of industrial settings.

The MSc programme is accredited by I-Trans, the French industrial cluster focusing on innovative transport systems managed by the Conseil Régional (Regional Council) for the Nord-Pas de Calais. http:/www.i-trans.org
